About 20% of the U.S. population is looking to reduce or eliminate gluten from their diet. The Ohio State University Extension, Union County Office is partnering with the Richwood Civic Center to offer a class, “Is Gluten Free Right for Me?” Come learn about gluten free shopping, dining, cooking and baking.  The program includes helpful handouts, recipes and tasty samples to try.

There are many important considerations that need to be made when making the decision to eat gluten free as a matter of dietary choice and not a medical necessity. This class will provide helpful information for those interested in limiting gluten in their diet as a matter of choice. There is no cost to attend this class. Transportation to the library will be provided within the Richwood area, by the Richwood Civic Center.

Call the Richwood Civic Center at (740) 943-2310 to register for the class. Class size is limited, so register soon!  For more information regarding the class call OSU Extension, Union County at (937) 644-8117.
