A parenting class series is being offered by the Ohio State University Extension, Union County. It will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, September 24, October 1, 8, and 15, 2013. Sessions will be held at the Ohio State University Extension, Union County Office located in the Union County Agricultural Center at 18000 State Route 4, Marysville .
Barbara A. Brahm, Extension Educator, Family and Consumer Sciences and Community Development, will teach the class on the following topics: “Parenting Styles and Child Development”, “Disciplining Your Child”, “Communication in the Family”, “Building Family Strengths”, “Nutrition” and “Stress”.
Registration is open to all interested persons. Fee for the class (all four sessions) is $30 per person; or $50 per couple; or $8 per session per person. Class size is limited.
