The Grapevine

May, 2003

Dear Grapevine Readers:

May started out as a very wet month. I believe we set some rainfall records just before Mother’s Day. Make sure you let your garden dry out so the soil will crumble nicely in your hand before you do any cultivation. Only rototill if absolutely necessary. Small gardens should be hand spaded to prevent a breakdown in soil structure.

I have tried to pick timely topics. Hopefully you will find them of interest.

Have a Great Gardening Experience,
