The Grapevine

May, 2002
Dear Grapevine Readers:

Well, spring appears to be coming, but its arrival sure has been slow. The rains have been frequent and soil temperatures have been very slow to warm.  Don’t do work in the soil just to do it on time.  Try to be patient and wait until the soil dries out and you can do it right. You will pay for it for a long time if you work in wet soil..  Take note of the following article and let us know if you have any questions. Note the Master Gardener Hotline times that are listed as well !!!
