The Grapevine
March, 2006
Hi!
Well, I’m sure that even
though the winter has been mild, most of you are ready for the arrival of
spring.
Signs of spring are here, from the peeping through the
soil by spring bulbs to the sighting of robins and other birds. I’m
sure you have been looking through seed catalogues and other plant information
as you make plans for spring plantings.
Enclosed you will find 2 flyers regarding
several upcoming meetings, which you may want to participate. First, on March
11, there will be a Fruit Clinic. Note that the first part of the program
will be at the Agricultural Center and the pruning part will be at Fruitful
Acres. You may attend one or both sessions. The second flyer is for
our annual Pond Seminar which will be on March 22. Note the times and
agenda on the flyers.
I hope to see you at one or both
of these meetings. Please give us a call if you have any questions
regarding either of the meetings.
Sincerely,
John Hixson
