The Grapevine
June, 2007
Hello Grapevine Readers!
Well, hopefully you have been having a successful gardening year. If
you are growing backyard tree fruit, the harvest will likely be rather
sparse. The Easter freeze really took care of much of the crop.
Strawberry season is in full swing, with a good crop for most gardeners.
We hope that the articles that are enclosed will be helpful to you.
Let us know of any problems which you are having that you need assistance
with in your lawn or garden. So far this year we have not had any major
insect or disease problems. Just when I say that, however, there will
likely be a major, unexpected outbreak of something.
Sincerely,
John Hixson
