Union County Master Gardener
Master Gardener, Christine Burnard of Marysville,
is presented the Leaping Frog Award by fellow Master Gardener Mollie Black
at
a recent Master Gardener meeting. This award travels monthly between
Union County Master Gardeners who exemplifies the spirit of being a Master
Gardener volunteer. “Chris is a positive mentor for those with whom
she works. She conducts herself in a courteous and respectful manner
and is always willing to help, teach and serve,” states Mollie Black, “She
truly is a Master Gardener.”
Chris Burnard has served on the Master Gardener
2002 Educational Series committee this year and conducted the January seminar,
FIRESIDE DREAMING: A guide to gardening resources with her husband,
Al. In addition, Chris has been involved with the Master Gardener
Tour of Gardens and various other subcommittees always available to be
of service to the Association.
All educational programs conducted by Ohio State University
Extension are available to clientele on a nondiscriminatory basis without
