Edible Landscaping Workshop
Union County Agricultural Center, 18000 State Route 4, Marysville in the Buckeye Meeting Room
Edible landscaping is incorporating herbs, vegetables and even fruit trees into your landscaping rather than relegating them to a specific garden spot on your property. The foliage and flowers of many herbs and vegetables are very colorful. They attractively and beautifully blend into flower beds. Growing space may be limited on your property so a blended garden is a perfect solution for having fresh produce ready to pick just outside your door. Vegetables and herbs can also be raised in containers placed on a very small patio. Or, they can be grown on a trellis to take advantage of vertical space.
