Farm Bill Meetings
The Farm Bill has passed but that is only the beginning of the process. Insurance is a crucial part to the management of many farms and farmers now must decide which programs are best suited for their operations. OSU Extension, in partnership with the local offices of USDA Farm Service Agency, Farm Credit Services, Farm Bureau, are offering a Farm Bill Program in Champaign and Union Counties on September 10, 2014. The Champaign County meeting will be held from 1-3 pm in the Michael’s Building at the Champaign County Fairgrounds (384 Park Ave, Urbana). The Union County meeting will be held from 5-7 pm in the Union County Services Building (940 London Avenue, Marysville).
