Welcome to The Horticultural Page where you will find information to help you manage pest and plants around your home!
The Horticulture Program in Union County is staffed by an Extension Educator, John Hixson, a Program Assistant, George McVey, and a volunteer staff of approximately 100 Master Gardeners. Our goal is to extend information from The Ohio State University to the public in the area of horticulture and its related fields, including agronomy, entomology, and plant pathology, so that gardeners and commercial producers alike can be more efficient in growing plants, and be mindful of environmental stewardship.
